What is RoamLife?
RoamLife is your travel companion for finding amazing places to stay on the road. Whether you're in a campervan, motorhome, or just love camping, we help you discover campsites, aires, and hidden gems with smart recommendations and real-time weather.
Is RoamLife free?
You get a free trial to explore everything RoamLife offers - finding spots, weather forecasts, personalized recommendations. After that, we have affordable plans to keep you on the road, with the core discovery features staying accessible.
How do I sign up?
Pop your email in the waitlist on our homepage and you'll be among the first to try RoamLife when we launch. Early birds get some nice perks too!
When is RoamLife launching?
We're in beta right now and launching soon in 2026. Join the waitlist to get early access!
Features
How do the recommendations work?
Tell us what you're into - quiet nature spots, family-friendly campsites, surf beaches, dog-friendly places - and we'll show you spots that match. No more scrolling through hundreds of random pins hoping one's decent.
Does RoamLife have weather info?
Absolutely! Real-time weather forecasts so you can plan around the sunshine and avoid rocking up to that clifftop viewpoint in a thunderstorm.
Can I use RoamLife offline?
Coming soon! We know signal can be rubbish at the best spots, so downloadable maps are on our list.
What kind of places can I find?
Everything from free aires and Stellplätze to proper campsites, wild camping spots, scenic viewpoints, and community favorites. If it's a good place to park up, we want it on the map.
How up-to-date is the info?
Our community keeps things fresh with reviews and updates. We also use clever tech to spot outdated info so you're not relying on a review from 2019.
Comparison
How's RoamLife different from Park4Night?
Three big things: smart personalized recommendations (not just star ratings), real-time weather, and a design from this decade. Plus we're free vs their €9.99/year. Park4Night has more spots after 12 years, but we help you find the right ones.
Is RoamLife better than Park4Night?
Depends what matters to you! We're better at recommendations and user experience. They've got more pins on the map. Many travelers use both - no judgment here!
Can I transfer my Park4Night favorites?
Not yet, but it's on our to-do list! We know switching apps is annoying when you've saved spots for years.
What about Campercontact?
Campercontact is solid for finding Stellplätze in Germany and Netherlands. We're aiming to cover more ground with smarter recommendations and a nicer experience.
App & Devices
Is there an iPhone app?
We're launching as a web app first (works great in Safari!). A proper App Store app is coming soon after.
What about Android?
Same deal - web app first, then a dedicated Android app. The web version works brilliant on Chrome though.
Does the website work on my phone?
Absolutely! We built it mobile-first, so it feels like a proper app. Add it to your home screen for the full experience.

Do you have wild camping spots?
Yes! Community-verified wild spots with info on legality and what to expect. Perfect for when you want to get off the beaten track.
What about aires and Stellplätze?
Loads of them! Aires in France, Stellplätze in Germany, camperplaatsen in Netherlands - all the good motorhome parking across Europe.
How many locations do you have?
We're growing fast! Rather than chasing numbers, we focus on quality spots you'll actually want to visit.

What's free?
Finding spots, weather forecasts, personalized recommendations, community reviews - all the stuff you actually need.
Will there be paid features?
Eventually! We're thinking offline maps, advanced trip planning, that sort of thing. But the core experience stays free.
Any perks for early adopters?
Definitely! Join the waitlist and you'll get founding member benefits when we launch. We like to reward the people who believed in us early.
Privacy
What do you do with my data?
We use it to make your experience better - that's it. No selling to advertisers, no dodgy third parties. Your travel data is yours.
Can I delete my account?
Whenever you want. We'll wipe everything - no weird data retention policies here.
Do you track my location?
Only when you're actually using the map, and only if you say yes. We never track you in the background or sell location data.
